Huxley Ceramics
My name is Sarah Huxley and I'm a potter living in Flintshire, North Wales. I started making ceramics after becoming chronically ill; I had to give up my dream of working in the games industry, but I couldn't abandon art.I started taking pottery classes in January 2025 and quickly fell in love. I work with sgraffito, the technique of applying coloured slip and carving designs that show off the original colour of the clay. I love to make beautiful and functional pieces, inspired by nature and folklore.
